Philosophy of Teaching

“The influence of a good teacher can never be erased”

The desire to teach has been inside me since my childhood. My ambition of wanting to become a teacher originates from my own educational experience. Being brought up in Bangladesh I feel the need of learning and teaching English language which is very essential for our educational growth.

I believe teachers are the role models for students both in classroom and in community. So, I wish to create a classroom where the students feel that learning is fun and meaningful. To achieve this, I need to be creative to engage students’ interest and show the attitude of being a learner as well.

A central theme in my philosophy is ‘the freedom to learn’. In order to fully educate any person, one must grant that person the freedom to learn, to create, to speak his/her mind and to make mistakes. My goal is to channel these freedoms when guiding the students. I want to create a student-centered classroom, where students become united and empowered, playing a larger role in each day’s events, decisions and responsibilities.

Every student deserves a dynamic educator who is highly trained and motivated; because each student is unique. They enter the open doors of a classroom with hopes, dreams and aspirations. My hope is to welcome the dreams and provide students with the drive to persist, the audacity to question and the humility to reflect.
